It’s here the long-anticipated recession. Your opportunity is now! Can you believe it? We are running around buying tissue by the loads, storing gallons of water and sanitizer is in high demand. The stock is at the lowest it has been in years and we knew it was coming we just didn’t know when. Well it’s here and now is the better time than ever to start you a business. The best business to start would be a service business. Unfortunately, luxury will be out the door for some of us and we have to get down to what we NEED and not what we want. You must start a need business and there is a difference.
Example
Water
Water is water but you may now choose arrowhead over Perrier because its arrowhead is what you need (plain, simple, cheaper) Perrier (fancy, sparkle, cost more). You get my drift?
Point is, it’s time to start a business and here are 5 businesses that make it through a recession
1.Repair Business– If you know how to repair, appliances, clothes, cars or phones (anything you know how to repair) then you are in the money because people will not be buying new they will try to revive what they already have.
2.Day Care Business– Caretaking takes a special heart. Many people will be seeking caretaking for children, elders and pets. If you are good at helping, nurturing and caring then this may be the best time to start this business. People will be getting 2 jobs or taking on extra hours and will be in need of a caretaker and that could be you.
3.Thrift Business – Used stuff will be in high demand because it is cheap and more affordable than buying new. If you are good at thrifting or finding good deals to sell, then you may want to look into thrifting as a business.
4.Cooking Business– Some people don’t know how to cook they just know how to call Uber or postmates (lol how rude) ok no but really many people will need help with how’s, recipes or done for you so if you are an aspiring cook this is the better time than ever to start your cooking business. Even if it’s selling plates on the weekend the money will be there for cooks.
5.Financial Business – Specifically here we are talking about budgeting, couponing and planning. Many people will need to keep a close eye on their money and if you are good at budgeting and planning this is the time for you to let people know you have these skills because these skills will be in high demand #budgetlife
6. Hair Business– People will still want their hair done. They may not buy your premiums services but the necessary hair care like, wash, cut, trim and style will be needed.
Online ideas that may still boom
Resume Writing– People will be looking for new employment and they want to have a stellar and eye-catching resume to land that new job.
Virtual Assistant – People will still need to balance books, set appointments, calls or order products. They may not need a full-time secretary if they can get a part time VA.
